| The graphically striking dazzle painted ships from World War I (designed to confuse the submarine gunner so that he couldn’t be sure about the target’s course, size, speed or distance) inspired me to revive the technique with a touch of humour and paint a set of sweatsuits. In theory the dazzled sweatsuits are meant to disorient and to some extent confuse any attacker from rivaling gangs. |
